Looks great with a PS4...have it hooked up to my laptop and my PS4 using the 2 separate HDMI ports.. I just switch back and forth between the ports depending on which device I am using. I doubt that a mouse would work. It's no different than hooking up the monitor as your TV (if the mouse works on your TV set, than you can use a mouse) but I think only the PS$ controllers would be the only device to work here.
