Yes you can, very easily- I would suggest a Samsung drive however as WD M.2's have shown to prematurely fail. I.e. all your data is GONE. BUT YES!, this laptop is very easily upgradable for any entry level user - they've made it so easy you can upgrade all the storage and memory in 15minutes or less.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can do it yourself. Remove all of the screws on the bottom of the laptop and carefully remove the bottom cover. The cover snaps into place so it is still held on pretty well even when the screws are removed. The additional m.2 slot is right there when you get the cover off.
