Why would you bother with raid zero? You're much better off just replacing both drives and running them normally. With SSD speeds what they are you are not going to see any discernible speed difference... When your load times are in the millisecond range it's not going to help to cut that in half, especially if both M2 ports share the same PCI Express channels. Then the total available bandwidth would be the same for one as it is for both so running them striped has no benefit other than increased likelihood you will lose everything if one drive dies. The only advantage is that you can then get it to pretend it's a two terabyte drive. And honestly the better thing to do would be for aces to get with the decade and support drives larger than one terabyte since you can get an 8 TB drive for $1,100 that is absolutely top speed.
