Keyboard does get hot while gaming. The only fans on this laptop are one for cpu and one for gpu. My set up consist of laptop cooler (one that goes under the laptop) and one vacuum fan attached to the side. Saw a 4 degrees Celsius difference while playing Forza horizon 4. Stayed between 67-69 degrees Celsius
