Having just returned mine, I feel you should know that you should know that while you might get 4k 60hz through HDMI, there is a “limitation” according to ASUS, that this machine simply will not output 1080p 120hz through HDMI. I was only able to get 120hz through thunderbolt. That combined with the ultra-low, locked processor setting and power output make this the wrong answer for an RTX 3070 laptop. Hope this helps. (As a point of reference, HDMI 1.4 technology is perfectly capable of outputting 1080p 120hz)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s 2.0 and will get you 4k 60hz, but beware- this machine, according to ASUS, will not output 1080p 120hz through HDMI. I had to use an egpu via thunderbolt to get 1080p 120hz. I was told it has a “limitation.” (Just returned mine)
