Yes, you can turn off the RGB completely or set it any color you want including custom colors us as well as the brightness level using Armoury Crate software included with the laptop. You also set whether the RGB effects are on while booting up, in sleep mode or shutting down. You can set effects like "Breathing", "Strobing", "Color Cycle" and "Static". I set mine to static and put the color to match the color in the Asus laptop ads (I like that yellow color). You can further link it to other devices like RGB mice or external keyboards using what is called Aura Sync, also part of Armoury Crate. Pretty robust software IMO.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The directional arrows on the keyboard allow you to scroll through different light patterns (off/pulse/strobe/etc). Use the Fn button. The color you can change too, I believe. Check settings on the computer itself.
