Yes. There should be a Ram slot free for upgrade. The argument is doubling the size or adding more. More Ram vs. Dual Channel. The same speed or greater does not cost much extra, so go with 2933mhz or better I went 8gb. $35. This one does not have a SSD, but has extra M2 slot. I installed most of my stuff on M2 that came with it. Then cloned it to a 1tb M2 and stuck it on a shelf for easy backup. The cloning of 400gb took 10 minutes after I opened it and stuck the Crucial 1tb P5 in to clone to. It was $120. You can get a Crucial 1tb p2 for $87. This is a good deal for computer.
