No this model is a much better model the model you are referring to is a 16 inch model this is the first 16 inch model in the A series Tuf laptops. This has the latest amd processor as well as latest amd gpu and this thing is phenomenal the battery life is significantly better with the 90 watt hour battery I am getting about 10-14 hours of mixed battery usage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This laptop (FA617NS.410) just on battery will run about 12 hours on just YouTube/streaming and about 2 hours of full-on gaming. Due to power management, my settings netted me about a 30-40% frame drop when on battery (MS Flight Sim). Not enough power for both CPU and GPU when on battery. Plug it in with the power adapter and it speeds back up to 40+ FPS. Hope this helps...
