Can expand the memory up to 40gb by addin a 32gh simm. Can also add a 16GB for a total of 24. Can add 8 gb for a total of 16 gb. The 16 gb option is dual channel memory access

Yes. Officially, you can add another one 8GB stick, and unofficially, you can add one 16GB module. P.S.: The SSD can also be switched, up to 4TB.
