The ASUS X1404VA comes with Windows 11 in S Mode, but you can take it out of S Mode permanently and use full Windows 11 Home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well, you are partly right. S Mode computers are usually a bit less expensive because the OS is provided at a reduced price, or even free. Because it is aimed at a more general market (students, light users, etc.), the parts are also on the lower scale, so not advised for serious gamers, video editing, and the like. And yes, you can remove the S Mode restriction, as about 40% of owners do; it's very easy. FYI: Once out of S Mode, most people think you cannot restore it. This is NOT TRUE. However, to do it, you either need to know how to edit the Registry (not recommended for noobs) or you have to completely wipe the drive.
