You need to remove the preinstalled SSD and upgrade to a new bigger size SSD and install your own copy of Windows 11 without voiding the warranty as long as no customer induced damage will occur during the hardware upgrade.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You could switch out a new drive for the one preinstalled and download a fresh copy of Windows 11 (perhaps even 10, if you wanted to, although you would just have to update it soon after). Since the Operating System is tied to the computer, the new one would just replace the old. After the installation, you would still have to download all the drivers, either from the Asus website or the different manufacturers of the sound card, video card, WiFi, Bluetooth, keyboard, USB connectors, etc. The drive formerly in place could then be retasked as you see fit, although it probably would not be suitable to replace the C-drive in another computer unless that one had exactly the same hardware, and you most likely COULD NOT use the OS loaded on it to replace the OS on another computer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For JLBl: (1) Your question should be input as a QUESTION, not input as an ANSWER. (2) Just to clarify my statement that "the Operating System is tied to the computer," Buying a Windows computer entitles you to ONE similar Windows operating system running on that computer, at no additional cost. On this computer, that would be any version of Windows Home (Pro would be an additional cost).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So would I need to purchase another copy of windows 11 to install to the new ssd, if I didn’t clone the original ssd?
