• Yes this model supports up to a 1TB 2.5 inch Hard Drive.

• Beware! According to ASUS support there is a 2.5 opening for an SSD. What they don't mention is a special ribbon cable is needed to connect the SSD, and ASUS support has so far been able to provide me the part number or a place to purchase this.
