To the best of my knowledge, ALL laptops use an adapter to convert local electricity to the requirements for the laptop, both for continual use and for recharging the battery. So with respect to power, as long as you have the proper dongle/wall wart, you would have no problem using this unit anywhere in the world. You would probably have to convert the language internally to Hindi or other, if that is your favored language, especially as regards the keyboard.
