ASUS doesn't have a 12v DC mobile adapter available for the laptop, please get one from a third-party seller like BestBuy. If the laptop doesn't POST after connecting an internal SATA drive to the laptop's motherboard, please check if the SATA ribbon cable and the SATA drive are working properly and connected correctly. Also, verify if the SATA drive is compatible with the laptop.
