Yes, It does pretty well with the Ryzen 7 3700U, but it is throttled due to the price: $599 USD, and the components are a bit old (hence the $599 price tag) but it does really good overall with gaming casual and/or heavy games. ~ Jamie Walter Tech Advisor at Microsoft and Microsoft affiliate brands Visit www.asus.com and www.microsoft.com to learn more. This chip can play PUBG @ 1366x768 with low settings hovering around 30-35 fps, with occasional drops to the 20s and bumps to the 40s. You can search for a video of what the AMD Ryzen 7 3700U Vega 10 can do. Obviously different laptop manufacturers will mean differences in thermal throttling, heat dissipation, etc. but the fact is this is meant for very undemanding gaming or light rendering/Adobe work. I'd recommend getting an Acer Nitro 5 with a GTX 1650 mobile gpu for $670. $170-270 more but you get much more bang for your buck and temperatures should be lower. The Nitro has only 8GB RAM (4 less), but its 3200 megahertz vs's the Acer's slower 2400 megahertz. Most games will do fine with 8GB and that speed is important though. Nitro has a smaller SSD though so you can't install as many games, but most laptops are easy to upgrade their SSD. I think the Nitro actually has a NVMe SSD and has an empty spot for a 2.5 SATA drive if you do find the storage inadequate. Here's a comparison between the two GPUs for Call of Duty Black Ops 4: medium settings 1920x1080 GeForce GTX 1650 Mobile: 81 fps avg medium settings 1920x1080 Vega 10: 16.8 fps avg
