It's my understanding that 2880 x 1620 is quite a bit higher resolution than 1080p. IMO, screen and resolution on this Asus is gorgeous. I'm very happy with this laptop, Here is a link to help understand the visual comparison. https://images.nvidia.com/geforce-com/international/comparisons/rise-of-the-tomb-raider/alt/rise-of-the-tomb-raider-nvidia-dynamic-super-resolution-interactive-comparison-001-1920x1080-vs-2880x1620.html
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The screen display is indeed full hi-definition and then some. It's a Q-OLED for the best possible picture colors and clarity. Best display of any laptop I've ever had, and mine have all been higher-end models. You won't be disappointed in the display on this one!
