Can I update this laptop's Ram null

You can upgrade past 16GB. I don't know why people keep saying the max is 16GB. Just upgraded mine to 24GB.

Asus's poor training for Customer Support? I looked it up and found you can add a 32GB module in the removable slot bring the total to 40GB (8GB soldered + 32GB removable). Feel free to confirm this for yourself.

Yes and no. Yes, you can change the RAM to a different stick HOWEVER the laptop already is at its maximum total RAM capacity (16GB).
