I am currently running this laptop at 48 GB. The specs say you cannot do this, but I am using the 16 GB original memory and added a 32 GB stick of memory. 48 GB of memory might be overkill.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In the Best Buy page, under "Specifications-->Memory-->System Memory RAM Expandable To-->" it states that 48GB is the maximum usable RAM. Of course, there could be an error here, as well as in the replies from Asus (see other, related questions and answers), so my interest was piqued and I searched further. Asus's website states the maximum amount of RAM is 24GB. Other sites, however, state that 40Gb is the maximum for the LINE, i.e., any computer with a "F1605VA-" preface. So if you really need the full 64GB, I would go elsewhere. Otherwise, 40GB is more than enough for most people.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this laptop will only support a maximum RAM size of 32GB, not 64GB.
