• A:Answer Yes, there is an 8GB RAM onboard or soldered on the motherboard and another removable 8GB on a slot for upgrade. To upgrade the SSD, the preinstalled 512GB SSD needs to removed there is only one slot available on this laptop model. This laptop model comes with one-year warranty.

• A:Answer The overeager Asus tech apparently only saw the first part of your question. If you search "RAM for F1605VA-BS74," you can find out whether it is dual channel or not. Also, another reply from Asus on a similar question said there was an 8GB soldered RAM stick and a separate, replaceable 8GB, so either the laptop comes in different RAM configurations or you might have to research a bit more.
