A:Answer Neither SgnRbt nor ASUS Answers worked for me. I found one similar, but it had an i7 CPU, which is a big difference from the i3.
I think Asus does the same thing as other manufacturers: first, they break down their different products into separate "lines" (for Asus, this would be Creators, Students, Gaming, Work), then models (F1704, X1704, etc.), then separate these still further by hidden designations (like the "ZA" at the end) to indicate small differences. And I think they all do this on purpose to make price comparisons more difficult between sellers, so the only way you can be sure you can check and compare specs, manuals, prices, capabilities, or parts is to search by the serial number or some kind of "Service Tag" (which is how Dell separates individual purchases). Which means you have to buy the machine before you can definitive information.
So when it comes to upgrading or comparing any of the facets I mentioned, your Best Bet (see what I did there?) might be to check websites that specialize in these, like Crucial for RAM and drives and Consumer Reports general for information.
