I didn't experience any thermal issues while owning this laptop. It runs cool but mainly because its a 80w 4060 and uses a 150w power brick to power the laptop. It will be slower compared to a g14. Timespy out of the box was 7951, with tweaks I got it to 9210.

Please try again later.Performing intensive tasks like playing high end games will cause the bottom of the laptop to generate a good amount of heat, but that is typically indicative of many gaming laptops in general. As long as you keep the device elevated to some capacity, there shouldn't be any issues.
