Max TGP means that that is the maximum the Graphics card can pull. A GPU normally does not pull the full power all the time and it changes based on the Load + total system consumption. Say, for a workload, the CPU is pulling a lot of power then the GPU won't be pulling 90W, it will be lesser than that.

My evidence is that in other laptops with a max of 120w, the gpu would pull 80w; so, if this has only 90w max.... you get the answer. I was really thinking of buying this but the total tdp is a deal breaker, just get the g14 or g15/m16.
