- Answer The memory on the ASUS model S5606MA-DS96 is not upgradeable. The laptop comes with 16GB RAM soldered to the motherboard and there are no expansion slots.

QuestionThis is a “point of order” for Best Buy (with Intel and AMD contributing as joint sources of the issue) but not really anything that Asus can address. The problem is that Intel’s and now AMD’s CPU clock rates are not handled properly in BB Tech Specs.

QuestionWhat is the CPU TDP (Thermal Design Plan) implemented in the Vivobook S 16? The datasheet for the Core Ultra 185H states Typical TDP 45 W, TDP Down 35 W, TDP Up 115 W. I’m guessing not specced at 115 W cuz 90 W PSU. Maybe 35 W or 45 W TDP?

QuestionI like that this model (Vivo S 16 OLED Ultra 185H 16 GB 1 TB) has 2x Thunderbolt ports. The Specs says that Power In is via Thunderbolt. Also that maximum input power is 90 W. So is it shipped with zero, one, or two 90 W Thunderbolt power supplies?

- Answer Oh I think I found my own answer under From the Manufacturer: Looks like 45 Watts. 75 Wh battery / 45 W = 1.667 so looks like it might run on battery for up to an hour and 40 minutes with all cores firing before needing recharging.

QuestionOther countries (Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, probably others as well) have the 32GB model. Why doesn't the US? This is ridiculous, Asus. Terrible decisions with warranty and repair policies now terrible product releases and options? FAIL++

QuestionWhere is the 32GB version of this machine? Asus says it's available with "up to 32GB of RAM". 16GB with an Ultra 9 processor is a joke. 16GB in general is the bare minimum a machine should have these days and with soldered RAM it's already obsolete.
