- Answer 1. No this notebook does not have a DVD/CD drive. 2. It has 1x USB3.1-Type C(Gen1); 2x USB 2.0 and 1x USB 3.0. 3. Yes, it can be connected to an external HDD. 4. It does not have a removable battery.

- Answer Pcmag says the webcam is not so great... I can't say from personal experience, but pcmag has a write up on their website.
