QuestionIf I use an HDMI cable to connect my laptop ( I do not have a PC) to the monitor will both sound and video be transferred via the HDMI. My laptop does not have an audio out.

- Answer I am posting this to correct the information in another answer. Actually this model does have speakers and when I connected the laptop to the monitor via an HDMI cable both sound and picture were heard and seen through the monitor.
