“Have I heard correctly that the stand is NOT detachable from the computer itself? Also, I heard when you download programs or files, that they somehow end up in the SSD instead of the HDD. Is this true or did I get my information mixed up? >_<”

All files download by default to SSD. When you download a program, look for the download location (mine is C drive SSD) and change that location to (mine D drive HDD). After that all program downloads will go to the HDD. When you download a file from the internet, you have to go into the browser settings and look for download location (again SSD to HDD). After changing the default to the HDD, all files will download to HDD. Another tip is to go to download location on computer setting and change that from SSD drive to HDD drive (mine was from C drive to D drive. Simple once you know how. I have no idea why they set the default location to the small SSD rather than HDD. I can see downloading a program to SSD to speed up the process, but not a file.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As the other poster stated. The first time you Download, you'll note that the default location is the smaller C drive. Change it as noted. Not a big deal, but you want to leave the C drive for the OS. I found this out when I tried to Downloaded the Full OFFICE. It ran out of space.. I checked and saw where it had downloaded to. i will say that the SSD drive is incredibly fast. You cannot remove the stand that I can see. It came out of the Carton assembled. This computer does resemble an iMac. I put an APPLE sticker on the back and almost everyone that sees it thinks its an iMac (Except iMac users)

Yes files are saved to the default folders in Windows (SSD drive) The Windows operating system resides here, and the HDD drive should be used for data (larger). You can easily drag your data files to the other drive letter (D:), or when files are downloaded select that drive as its destination. I hope this helps. mymet
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just looked at my stand and I do not see any screws or anything that would make me think the stand can be removed. All of my programs go to my hard drive, I guess you could direct downloads to the SSD but I have not done so. I have left all the factory settings alone.
