“A question for owners of this particular model: do the fans engage often during more demanding tasks, like image/video processing or manipulation of large Excel file or similar? Is the fan noise annoying? Will appreciate if you share your experience.”

I work in technology and I have had this computer since October 2023. The fan has noticeably turned on less than 5 times, if it is on it sounds loud (like any other), but I don't think it has ever lasted on for more than 3 minutes.

Please try again later.I ran large / elaborate 3D effects through Illustrator on it and it didn't run fans / otherwise quiet and brief if it did, however I have noticed when I walk away while the computer is on (typically when I leave an adobe project open) the fans turn on. Although not *loud* it is strange that is when they go on at full force it seems? Also something to note: power is on the right hand side which bothers me as a right handed person. Something I overlooked when purchasing... On the fence about this one still.
