Yes, I have a MacBook Air M2 2022 and it works for me. However, it doesn't show up on the Mac until you add a disc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't say I have much to offer but one thing I would check is if you have a media player for your disc drive to play with. I have a pc but when I initially connected the drive with my computer and put in some CDs and DVDs to try and play, it didn't show up or play anything. Everything ran fine but nothing would appear. It wasn't until I went and installed the VLC Media Player (which is free and open source if you want to try) that it finally appeared on my computer and allowed me to read the discs. Once that worked, it read the discs fine every time so that is my best suggestion and hopefully it helps.
