“Do you think the battery life will significanly improve with Android 6.0? I know it hasn't been released yet, but I read somewhere that the Zenpad S8 will receives Android 6.0. And based on what I am reading online, Android 6.0 is the best android OS for battery life(in stand by AND while using the tablet). It seems the average I see people with this tablet is 6-7 hours of medium use with anywhere between 60-100% brightness. Also Asus has fixed some bugs that could affect battery in recent updates etc... I like the specs of the tablet and I need a light tablet as I have bad arms and the Sero 7 pro I have heurts my hands/arms after about 10 minutes(I have nerve issues and carpaltunel). I just am not sure about the battery. The Processor seems stronger than the 1.33ghz specs.”

Unless this will be SOLE device, battery life isn't a big issue. Also, I wouldn't hold out for Marshmallow here - considering its price and all of the competition out there. Still, even without M's "doze" feature, I usually only see 1-2% battery drain even overnight.

Please be advised that battery life varies by configuration, operating conditions, and other factors. Maximum battery capacity decreases with time and use.
