Only the router needs to be wired. The satellites do not need to be wired.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have one plugged in directly to the router, the other is used as a node, not directly wired. Do you have the option to do either. I live in a three-story situation where on the top floor I have the wired one and on the third floor I have the non-wired one and we have good Internet service with in the home on all three levels. I would have better service in the area right outside the home and garage if I added a third unit on the main floor.
