• Yes you must have an at&t comparable phone but you get unlimited talk and text and limited data. The higher the plan the more data. They expire every month although you can set up a automatic payment plan through the web site if you don’t want to bother buying month to month. I have done both but like the control of me choosing when to buy so I can fit it into my budget when it suits me.

• Hi James, This is just a prepaid card that you can use to pay for a prepaid plan. But you can use it to pay for an unlimited talk and text plan. AT&T has a several different options on prepaid plans. David, AT&T Community Specialist
