QuestionThis phone isn't usable because of the static (or sounds) on both the handset and the speaker. Very disappointing. User has hearing aids but other phones sound fine. Why?

- Answer If the user has DSL Internet service a DSL filter may need to be installed on the line at the telephone. The other telephones in the house may already have the DSL filters installed.

- Answer I had to completely unplug both lines to get it to release! This phone has a lot of static and cross line feed over, so I am not using it right now!

- Answer No idea on your question. It’s a phone. You can hookup two or ONE PHONE LINE. SPEAKER WORKS BETTER THAN MY LAST PHONE. has adjustable volume via speaker and handset. ID SHOWS RIGHT ON THE PHONES MESSAGE WINDOW. If ya want caller ID ON YOUR TELEVISION, contact your supplier for instructions. Comcast does it automatically. Dump DIRECT TV AND GET COMCAST TRIPLE PLAY FOR $335 dollars a month and it will work. By the way, the audio on this phone works great. Good luck.

- Answer If you have a call forwarding package from your phone company you can use the keypad to activate it, but it will not forward calls on its own. It is just a standard 2 line analog phone.

QuestionDoes this phone have line Privacy, meaning that if I have one plugged into my bedroom another one in my dining room and someone is using line one the other base could not pick up line one? Also does it work as an intercom from one station to the other?

- Answer They do not do either. These units are just sharing dial tone in parallel. No interconnected data shared between them.

- Answer Either your phone has become unplugged or it is broken. Even with the volume turned all of the day down you should still hear the dial tone over the speaker.
