• Yes. It is the center button on each of the handsets.

• on the handset there is an up and down arrow for the volume. These will change often because here we find we bump them with our face while multi-tasking. also the high volume is not very loud it seems to me.

• Hi, my mom is hard of hearing too and she is very happy with this phone. The base ringer as well as the phone volume is totally adjustable from a good low to high range for her so I'm sure it'll work for you as well. : D

• my sister is hard of hearing and visual impaired and it works great to her. she can even hear who is calling. however it does pronounce some names a bit oddly. hilarious
