“The base display says there is a new voicemail, but 0 (zero) messages. And when I push “play messages” on the base it says there are none. How do I clear the new voicemail display?”

Messages are recorded and stored on the base unit. Voicemail are messages kept by your service provider. They send a signal though the network that triggers the New Voicemail indication. To clear that indication: 1. press "menu" 2, press the top side of the circle twice to get to "Settings" 3. press "menu" 4. press the bottom side of the circle three times to get to "Clr voicemail" 6. "Reset Voicemail Indicator?" is displayed 5. press "menu" to confirm. 6. press "cancel" to back out of the menus.
