QuestionWe bought this system yesterday, after three rings (even when set to 5) whoever is calling gets dead air. No announcement. Does anyone here encountered this? We like the phones but will have to go back if can't fix it. Thanks

- Answer Set mine for 5 rings...it only does 2...and for some reason it then rings twice on my cell phone...huh? I hate this set, lots of buttons to push before doing anything! I'm debating returning it too.

- Answer Yes you can. Whenever I get a call that says not provided, that’s who calling you, you just push the call block button. They will not longer be able to get through. If you do not recognize a number just let the answering machine take it, then you can still block them.

- Answer Yes, it does. You have to scroll through the set-up menu to get to the ringtone selection, and I didn't find any of the ringtones especially appealing so I stayed with the default one. I'm quite pleased with the system overall.

- Answer It will act as a speaker phone with no handset in the base. I thought it odd as but it’s a good quality phone setup.

- Answer Yes it gives the full call details of all messages as well as displayed on the base and handset. The blocked call feature is really nice. If a call is coming in that you want to block you just hit the block button and all future calls from that number will be blocked automatically.

QuestionCan you call handset to handset for intercom purposes, or only to the base? Our older phones, we can set up the number for each handset, ie, #2, #3, etc. So we can use one handset to call the other handset.

- Answer yes you can call from handset to handset or to the base from any handset, each one has a different number already assigned out of the box.

QuestionHow long will this phone continue to function during a general power failure?

- Answer According to the manual, this system has a battery backup feature. In case of a power outage, if you have a fully charged handset on the base, the base will draw power from that handset to allow the system to continue to operate. That is until the power in the handset is depleted.

- Answer Im not sure, there is a hole in the base that you can use. I don't have a headset to try it. The phone doesnot.

- Answer One phone jack for the primary base/answering system. All others connect wirelessly for the phone service. Each base does require power for charging purposes, of course.

- Answer Amazingly more than our last one, On this phone, I believe it is either 750 or 1000. Great for all those irritating robo or marketing calls. You can also clean out number list if you want to empty it and start over, or even delete one or more others.

- Answer These are the dimensions of the base with keypad -- 8-1/4" Long x 4-1/2" Wide x 2-1/2" High (not counting the handset).

Questionone of my additional handset bases the phne shows incoming calls, it rings when someone calls but it will not break dialtone. I cant make or receive calls from it. is this a sync issue or the set? I have "rebooted" the base station and didn't fix.

- Answer Probably needs to be replaced. The phones in the set are already synced to the base. Maybe it needs a new battery in the handset. Or you could try putting it on another base and see if the same problem happens. It is probably the handset.

- Answer All calls that are not on the authorized call list will be blocked unless they state their name and hit #. This effectively blocks the robo calls, and from our experience, the other spam calls. If someone is a legitimate caller they can easily get through. We have slowly built out authorized list to include businesses we deal with on a regular basis.
