• yes the phone will announce the caller & also identify those not recognized as "unavailable"

• Yes it does, however this feature can be shut off for the entire system or for individual handsets.

• Yes it does but the volume on the hand set is too low . Hard to hear the other person.

• After it screens the call, it gives you a chance to hear the caller's name. I recommend using the directory to insert the names of family and friends.
