Yes, you can make and receive mobile calls with the AT&T handsets once you pair your mobile phone via a bluetooth connection to the AT&T handsets. Your mobile calling uses this bluetooth connection and your traditional telephone carrier uses the wired connection to the handset, they are independent of each other.
