• it use nano sim card. Yes; if your previous hotspot has AT&T service, you can just take the sim card and put in the netgear nighthawk.

• Same SIM card as in your phone and should be the same as in your other device, when I made the purchase, an ATT rep told me I could have just used the old SIM card, or I can activate the new one.
