“I already have a AT&T Velocity hotspot. I was told this hotspot may make the data a little bit faster via downloads and uploads. Is this true?”

• I just purchased this hotspot because my wife and I moved out to the country where cable & internet are non existent. So far, even with one bar of service the speed has remained plenty fast. I haven’t done a speed test yet, but I planned on it once I add the directional antenna.

• You'd have the internet as long as there's cell coverage. If you aren't near a cell tower, then you wouldn't have internet, just like a cell phone.
