Can this unit remain plugged in constantly null

Yes. I mostly use mine in an rv where it is constantly plugged into power and I have not had any issues. You will however see a message on the screen once it’s fully charged that says to remove it from power but this is just the device manufacturers way of telling you it’s fully charged.
