Is this phone unlocked? null

Yep. It was easy for me to set up from my iPhone SE (also purchased from BB a couple of years prior). Just inserted sim card from old phone to new phone. Restored backup photos etc. from iCloud and all was in order. No problem. Note I use AT&T. That's the carrier these phones are set up for.
