Don't think it's a good idea. It's not a replacement for the home internet it's limited and costly. Although, mobile operators offer an alternative to the cable solutions, like ATT Internet or Verizon FiOS.

The only problem is that you will burn through your data very fast if you use it as primary internet. You can purchase the Cricket unlimited plan Sim Card and use it in this AT&T devise - it works fine. The Cricket plan has unlimited Data but it slows down after 22GB have been used. You'll still have internet access but it will be much slower. There are currently no cellular data plans out there that will accommodate this devise to be your full time internet. - I hope this helps!
