“The description says this bookcase holds about 108 DVDs. Is this true? Does anyone know exactly how many it holds?”

It all depends on the thickness of the dvd's (special editions , which are sometimes thicker). I have 122, do keep in mind that if you are just going to use it for dvd's then you will only have 4 shelfs not 5. Hope this helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it can hold about 29 per shelf so right at 116. guess it would really depend on the size of the case. blue-rays are sometimes smaller or bigger and some dvd cases have covers over them so the 108 would prob be bare min.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine holds 29 mixed DVD and Blu-Ray on one shelf, times 4 shelves = 116 discs....this is more, but I think it's due to the Blu-Rays having thinner cases. Overall, 108 DVD's sounds right.
