“Is the back panel in the front metal or same as the rest of wood? I seen one exactly like this at the store but it had metal on it and didn't care for that. Would appreciate your response . Thank you !”

• The back panel is actually like a posterboard kind of thing. Not really intended to bear weight, just keep your CDs from flying outof the back.

• There are no metal panels. The back appears to be made of partical board or that of similar. This is a solid product; I have four and am very happy with the shelves. The backboard is black as well to match.
