• It is a build it/assemble yourself rack. It comes with an instructional guide. Parts are numbered and/or letter assigned. I only needed a Phillips head/star head screw driver and 30 minutes of my time.

• You get instructions and each item has a letter on them to know what goes where. They are great storage units for cds and dvds I own 2 of them.
