Is this wood, pressboard, or particleboard? null

I believe it's pressed board. But it's covered with vinyl & it's priced accordingly. It has to be assembled which takes time. But it holds a lot of DVD's or CDs. It's held up fine. It's a functioning piece. Not a quality piece. They did have several colors to choose from if you check out Bestbuy.com
