It does not have its own speaker. At this time all of our turntables have to be connected to an external speaker in some way. The simplest and most cost-effective way to use the AT-LP60-BT Wireless turntable is to pair it to a Bluetooth speaker or Bluetooth headphone, or to hard-wire it to a pair of self-powered (aka active) speakers or headphone amplifier and headphones.

No - this unit requires you to connect it to a speaker, sound bar or amplifier via the Bluetooth functionality or cables that are included. Take a look at the Insignia bluetooth speakers if you are looking for something inexpensive to listen with.

No, it does not have its own speaker. It can connect to a Bluetooth device (ie: soundbar, wireless Bluetooth speakers, wired speakers, Bluetooth headphones, or receiver and speakers. I connected mine via Bluetooth to a Vizio soundbar system that I use on a 75" TV in my media room. It sounds great!
