Yes, there is. The wireless (Bluetooth) version of the headphone, the ATH-M50xBT, was specifically designed to sound like the original wired only version of the headphone, the ATH-M50x, when used in the wireless mode. As a result, when the ATH-M50xBT is used in the wired mode, it does not sound identical to the original wired only ATH-M50x.

Same. Only difference is this has bluetooth.
