• In addition to the previous answer, this turntable can be connected to a receiver or as preciously stated it may also be connected to just a powered speaker. Also, the turntable may also be paired with a Bluetooth speaker for wireless operation.

• The turntable may be used with powered (also referred to as active) type speakers. Powered type speakers are speakers that have built-in amplifiers. They typically have an on/off switch of some kind and at least a volume control if not volume and tone controls. An example of such a speaker system is the m-audio av42.
