• This goes inbetween the amp and head unit. Its what gives ur amp signal.

• Oh no bro!. This converter will be perfect for you. Your just converting that high powered signal to a low powered signal so the amp can use. Actually you can get more bass out of your system with the bass boost feature with this converter.
